Family Activities Supervisor

Under the direction of the Youth Activities Director, the FAS is responsible for assisting with aspects of Kid City, Camp Columbia, and youth events. Expected to develop, organize, and manage youth events and activities. They should oversee the safety of all children with the assistance of counselors. They must fulfill all administrative duties given by the Youth Activities Director.

Responsibilities:

• Observing participants at events, assess their enjoyment and obtain their feedback to improve events.
• Keeping records regarding facility resources, participant interest, and other notable information, such as injuries or behavioral incidents.
• Manage Kid City scheduling
• Ensuring that activities are well-provisioned, the youth activities staff are trained and prepared, and that the activities take place on time.
• Providing participants with instructions for the activities.
• Adhering to and enforcing all safety procedures.
• help plan activities for children, which may include physical games or sports, arts and crafts and other recreational pursuits
• makes sure that kids are safe and well behaved while they're enjoying whatever the activity may be
• Assist in Youth Certification
• Occasional weekends to oversee Kid City
