Full time
Financial Services is the University finance center that provides budget, accounting, and Faculty Load support to the University as a whole. The Faculty Load Technician will report to the Financial Analyst for Academic Affairs and may assist others within Financial Services as needed.
Primary Responsibilities
- Process and issue all faculty contracts for adjunct or overload payments each semester
- Prepare reports for authorization by Chairs and Deans for overload contracts
- Review adjunct and overload assignments for accuracy and compliance with university protocols
- Provide training of Faculty Load input to new personnel and review sessions for existing personnel
- Prepare spreadsheets related to Faculty Load for reports to the Provost, Deans and Chairs and Human Resources
- Maintain database for contract processing and reporting
- Maintain and update training materials and compliance guidelines as needed
- Maintain Faculty Load electronic file system for each semester
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Knowledge indicating proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, and Access
- Strong critical thinking skills with the ability to solve problems and collaborate with others
- Demonstrated organizational and time management skills including the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks with minimal supervision
- Demonstrated excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Evidence of the ability to handle confidential information, exercise sound judgement and maintain records
- Evidence of outstanding customer service skills
