Position: Facility/Rental Supervisor

Position Type: Part Time

General Function: To supervise and mentor all members and Rentals in a manner consistent with YMCA policies and practices.
Requirements: Must be able to work well with all members in a positive and consistent manner. Must be reliable, responsible, confident, authoritative and able to use good judgment to make correct decisions regarding building operations. Must have current CPR and First Aid certification, or receive within ninety days.

Job Segments:

1. Be knowledgeableof all YMCA policies, procedure, programs and membership information.

2. Be visible to the members, dressing appropriately with nametag, and answer any questions or concerns in a friendly and positive manner, consistent with values of Caring, Respect, Responsibility and Honesty.

3. Work as a team member with other employees.

4. Give facility tours as outlined with other employees

5. Assist Customer Service Desk staff, when needed, in performing tasks such as checking membership cards and answering the telephone.

6. Attend to any incidents, accidents or disciplinary issues that may arise in a quick, thorough and fair manner. Assist members with their needs.

7. Do a walk-though of the entire facility every 15 minutes, including parking lot and locker rooms.

8. Walk members to their cars when appropriate/requested.

9. Assist the pool staff when necessary

10.Provide the absolute best Customer Service to all members and non-members

11.Greet rental guests and assist with setting up if needed.

12.Anticipate the needs of rental groups and respond accordingly.

13.Set up and tear down tables and chairs before and after rentals.

14.Maintain general cleanliness of rental area including vacuuming before and after rentals, mopping, wiping down tables and taking out trash as needed.

15.Pick up all trash and debris in the Facility and around the front entrance. Keep walks cleared during inclement weather. Keep vending area neat, and tables and floors clean. Clean any spills when necessary. Make sure restrooms and locker rooms have adequate supplies.

16.Monitor fitness center for under age use when fitness center staff is unavailable.

17.Helps setup or tear down for special events.

18.Report any unusual incidents or accidents to your supervisor, and complete detailed incident/accident reports as needed.

19.Participate in the Annual Campaign.

20.When closing, make sure all external doors are locked and all members have left the building safely. Do not leave until members and staff has left the grounds. Make staff leave in pairs when closing.

21.Anything other as assigned by supervisor.

Pay: $14.00 per hour
