Facilities Project Manager

Your Role: Coordinate various facility construction and remodeling projects at all Dot locations including, but not limited to, new distribution centers and expansions of warehouse, office, garage, and parking. Works closely with internal customers, Project Managers, engineers, contractors, and sub-contractors to ensure projects are completed to Dot’s quality standards, schedule, and budget.

• Collaborates with in-house and external resources.
• Reviews proposals executes change orders, and processes other documentation.
• Analyzes costs on routine basis and develops cost projections based on current information.
• Develops and implements project schedules.
• Assures all materials and project items are on site as required by schedule Applies lean thinking and tools to identify and eliminate waste in all areas of the position.
• Reviews plans and submittals, manages pay applications and lien releases.
• Maintains thorough knowledge of company contracts with each subcontractor and supplier.
• Verifies proper insurance coverage.
• Leads continuous improvement efforts while applying lean thinking and tools to eliminate waste.

Role Specifics:

• Travel: 3-5 nights per month for industry events, training, meetings, or projects. Must have the ability to travel independently, as needed, without restriction by all modes of transportation, including car, plane, or train.

We Need You To Have:

• Bachelor's degree in a construction related discipline or minimum 3 years experience in an industrial construction environment
• Technical writing
• Analysis and development of design concepts

We’d Like You To Have:

• Engineering Degree
• Computer-Aided drafting experience
• Strong fluency with Microsoft Office and Microsoft Project
• Strong attention-to-detail
