This position will report directly to one of the NCA Plant Engineering Supervisors and will have a variety of Facility maintenance responsibilities including but not limited to; carpentry, patching, painting, doors, locks, and flooring with a work concentration in masonry. The selected candidate will work in our downtown Nashua, NH facility, which sits on 22 acres and has approximately 680,000 square feet of office, lab and manufacturing space.

The successful candidate must have strong communication skills, be self-motivated and capable of working in a collaborative team environment. The successful candidate shall have experience in and be capable of the following:
  • Installs, maintains and dismantles a wide variety of facility equipment.
  • Must be capable of working from blueprints, equipment drawings, schematics and manufactures specification and literature.
  • Works independently and/or leads a group of workers to complete assignments, renovations, fit-ups or repairs.Must be capable of performing periodic maintenance inspection on all types of facilities infrastructure and equipment.
  • Participate in a wide range of projects involving cleaning, caulking and waterproofing of old and new construction masonry.
  • Must have experience working with concrete (CMU), brick work restoration.
  • Must be proficient in repointing work, bricklaying, and block laying.
  • Must have a great customer service demeanor and capable of working with outside contractors and vendors.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all work is performed and completed as specified by contract, engineering drawings/specifications and applicable codes.
  • Must be able to operate within a computerized maintenance work order system. Qualitied candidate must be able to log work performed, provide a brief explanation of the problem and summarize what was replaced and or repaired.
  • Must be willing to participate in the on-call coverage for the facility.
  • Must be able to perform work from elevated platforms or mechanical lifts.
  • Must be able to lift 50 pounds with the ability to carry bricks, concrete blocks, stones, cement bags and other non-specified items.
  • Maintains a safe and clean work environment to include tools, equipment, and facility stock areas.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as requested.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 3 years of proven work experience as a mason or similar role
  • Previous experience in a facilities maintenance role
  • Experience working with other trade professionals in a collaborative environment
  • Certification in masonry or equivalent preferred

Pay Information
Full-Time Salary Range: $54560 - $87340
Please note: This range is based on our market pay structures. However, individual salaries are determined by a variety of factors including, but not limited to: business considerations, local market conditions, and internal equity, as well as candidate qualifications, such as skills, education, and experience.
