We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Worker - at Jeanne Jugan Residence (Nursing Home), in Pawtucket RI to become a part of our team! You will perform necessary work to keep machines, mechanical equipment, and structure of an establishment in repair.
Responsibilities:
- Repair major and minor issues involving equipment and buildings
- Complete maintenance and repair work orders, in a timely fashion
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with the building, equipment, etc.
- Maintain a clean and a safe work space
- Assist in room turn-overs, painting, etc
- Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in Facilities Maintenance or other related fields
- Knowledge in one or more trades to include: plumbing, electric, boilers, HVAC, carpentry, etc.
- Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment
- Nursing Home Maintenance experience preferred
- Must be organized, neat, efficient, and detail-oriented
- Ability to handle heavy physical workload
- Ability to work both independently and cooperatively as a team
- Must be dependable
- Ability to maintain a respectful demeanor with co-workers, Supervisors, Sisters, and Residents in the Nursing Home
