Form of workVelocity is a fast-paced company with an open-door environment looking to add a Facilities Maintenance Specialist to our team. The Facilities Maintenance Specialist will provide services to all Velocity locations. The position will perform various facilities related tasks as directed by the Safety, Security and Facilities Manager.
This position is located onsite at our Holland, Ohio facility. The shift for this position is 7am-3:30pm Monday-Friday.

- Can efficiently use basic tools and have basic Facilities Maintenance skills.
- Self-motivated.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
- Comfortable driving a 24ft box truck and small passenger van on occasion.
- Managing contractors when on site.
- Work alone at times on provided tasks.
- Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
- Comfortable on a ladder.
- Display a professional presentation at all times when working with employees.
- Manage plumbing issues (i.e., unclogging toilets).
- Clean bathrooms and facilities as needed.
- Operate a power washer.
- Wash exterior windows.
- Shovel snow and salt sidewalks in the winter.
- Churn test a diesel fire pump weekly.
- Cycle natural gas powered generators weekly.
- Perform fire extinguisher and AED checks.
Qualifications, Experience and Education:
- Minimum High school Diploma/GED.
- Must have valid driver license and able to be insured.
- Must be able to pass a DOT Physical.
- Must have own vehicle to travel between local facilities.
