Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Facilities & Logistics Operations Manager to manage the day-to-day operational needs of our new office location in Audubon, PA. This individual will be responsible for logistics, building maintenance, vendor relationships, planning, and events. This role requires a background in workplace operations, a deep understanding of operational procedures, and a proven track record of building strong cross-functional partnerships. Essential Responsibilities
- Responsible for building operations at a 5,000+ sq ft office in Audubon, PA.
- Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing, following, and enforcing standards and procedures, and complying with legal regulations. Oversee relations with current vendors, property management, and the city.
- Build, lead, and manage an operations team (facilities manager, vendors, contractors, etc).
- Develop operational systems, processes, and best practices that improve organizational quality, security, and efficiency.
- Manage in-house construction and enhancement projects.
- Maintain adequate product inventory levels to meet customer demand.
- Forecast, monitor, and create purchase orders to maintain safety stock level.
- Monitor and manage daily outbounds in the warehouse.
- Monitor logistics-related costs and improve cost efficiency.
- Monitor the performance of information technology systems making recommendations for needed improvements.
- Respond to internal support requests and assist in troubleshooting any problems that arise ad hoc. Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, attempt to replicate the reported technical problem(s), and provide solutions.
- Inform and train colleagues on company-related software systems and components.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in operations management, business administration, or a related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in facilities, logistics, or operations management.
- Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to independently prioritize and manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Experience with project management, purchasing, inventory, budgeting, and vendor relationships.
- Experience configuring, testing, training, and implementing new applications and systems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Must be able to lift 40 lbs.
- Other duties as assigned.
