The Facilities Custodian will be responsible for cleaning and sanitizing offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, break rooms, grounds, production area and equipment. We are looking for someone who is detail-oriented, flexible, and willing to take on routine cleaning and special projects as needed.
Essential Duties

• Take instructions and follow direction as delegated by supervisors to meet daily and weekly, individual and team quality standards.
• Perform general clean-up of all areas of the building.
• Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas and parking lot.
• Complete non-routine cleaning per job orders.
• Properly dispose of plant waste and garbage daily.
• Prioritize emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
• Ensure bathrooms, break rooms and offices are sanitized daily and stocked as needed.
• Generate work-orders for recognized building issues.

• Generate purchase-orders for facility supplies. Works in a timely manner and strives to increase productivity.

• Maintain a culture of professionalism.

• Adhere to company policies, procedures and state mandatory regulations.

Other Duties

• Support set-up/break-down for company events.
• Support of the Facilities maintenance personnel.
• Other duties as assigned, including, but not limited to assisting other departments to help facilitate the additional and/or supplemental work such trimming, packaging, farm, cure, or as needed throughout the facility.

Supervision

• Works under the direct supervision of the Facilities Manager.
• This person does not supervise other employees.

Job Qualifications
Work Experience

• A minimum of 2+ years janitorial and/or maintenance experience preferred
• Ability to work well under minimal supervision
• Capacity to take direction
• Strong attention to detail
• Physically capable of lifting and moving objects up to 50 pounds as necessary
• Must be able to secure appropriate work credentials from the Colorado Department of Revenue, MED.

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Working Conditions

• Able to use a computer.
• Able to move about a typical manufacturing, warehouse, or retail environment while on your feet for extended periods of time.
• Able to kneel, bend, reach, rotate, and stoop on a regular basis daily.
• Must be able to climb a ladder and complete required job duties at heights.
• Able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Regular and on-time attendance.
• Occasional travel within the region and to other locations as required.
