Tuknik Government Services, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Facilities and Space Management Specialist with a TS/SCI Clearance to support TGS and our government customer in Falls Church, VA.

Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to:
  • Responsible for evaluating, advising, coordinating, and performing liaison and problem resolutions relative to all elements of Facilities & Space Management (FSM).
  • Manages Facilities and maintains operations on behalf of the organization, within our CDAO spaces and locations.
  • Prepares and implements facilities standards and procedures for the day-to-day operations of all CDAO facilities, to include ensuring systems are in proper operating condition, scheduling preventive maintenance checks and coordinating maintenance and repairs to building support systems (e.g., heating, ventilation, air conditioning, electrical, plumbing, telephone, and special environmental systems).
  • Assist Management Specialist and CDAO Facilities Team with statements of work, provides advice, and inspects contractor/vendor performance to assure compliance with the statement of work. Coordinates with the location's Building Management Office for maintenance of utilities, custodial service, emergency generator service, grounds maintenance, insect and rodent control, trash removal, and custodial services.
  • Serves as Parking Coordinator and Liaison working on behalf of CDAO, to process parking requests to WHS Parking Office for related Temporary and/or Permanent hang tags. Temporary parking requests can be processed for multiple locations. Processes large volumes of requests for events when required.
  • Provides technical advice and assistance to the Chief and Deputy Chief of Security, Office of the Chief Digital and Artificial Intelligence Officer (OCDAO) with Space Management, along with facility guidance to support the OCDAO facility programs and personnel.
  • Assist with facility operations at our CG2 location, and able to function in fast-paced environments while meeting deadlines.
  • Assist with implementation of plans and provides administrative direction for facility projects, including renovation of current/future office spaces and data processing facilities.
  • Serves as the OCDAO ambassador and works with other OCDAO team members to evaluate, define, and validate current and projected OCDAO operational space requirements.
  • Reviews plans, coordinates, and can manage multiple space renovation projects and able to communicate with management officials on setting goals, standards, and targeted outcomes.
  • Provides coordination and guidance to program offices on regulatory developments, changes in Space Management practices, and trends affecting the organization’s requirements for, and use of space.
  • Interprets operational policies and procedures within the areas of responsibility and identifies potential areas of fraud, waste, inefficiency, and abuse.
  • Provides guidance on statements of work, provides technical advice, and inspects contractor performance to assure compliance with the statement of work.
  • Coordinates with the Pentagon Building Management Office and other field lease building personnel for maintenance of utilities, custodial services, emergency generator services, grounds maintenance, inspections, trash removal and other related custodial services.
  • Provides guidance based on direction and can articulate general matters related to Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing (MEP)
  • Drafts some correspondence on behalf of the Government Leadership for review/approval by appropriate GOV POCs
Requirements:
  • 5-7 years of related experience
  • Experience providing facility operations support at multiple locations, and able to function in fast-paced environments while meeting deadlines.
  • Experience managing the execution of facility projects, including multi-year renovation of current/future office spaces and data processing facilities.
  • Experience ensuring current and correct accountable property records are maintained in the Defense Property Accountability System (DPAS)
  • Experience coordinating the design and alterations to space or reconfiguration of offices and coordinating office relocations.
  • Experience developing recommendations and solutions for mechanical and electrical & plumbing (MEP), and Space Management matters.
  • Strong organizational, project management and problem-solving skills with impeccable multi-tasking abilities
  • Ability to uphold a strict level of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Highly motivated professional and capable of managing demanding workload while prioritizing and managing competing priorities.
  • Demonstrates excellent communication skills, a high level of integrity, critical thinking, and leadership courage.
  • Advanced MS Word and PowerPoint skills; proficient MS Teams, Excel, and Outlook application skills
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related discipline or field
  • Specialty software experience like AutoCAD is a plus.
  • To be considered, must have a CURRENT/ACTIVE SECRET security clearance and be upgradable to TOP SECRET/SCI.
Working Environment & Conditions
This job operates in a professional office environment and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
This position is primarily indoors, consistent with a standard office position and has a noise level of mostly low to moderate. The incumbent is required to stand, walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear. The workload may require the incumbent to sit for extended periods of time. The incumbent must be able to read, do simple math calculations and withstand moderate amounts of stress.
The incumbent must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
