Fabrication Supervisor
Galesburg, IL
Full Time M-F (2:30 - 11pm)
$27-$29 an hour

Job Duties:
* Supervise machining and sheet metal fabrication related operations. Monitor employee performance and address disciplinary issues.
* Responsible for product quality, workmanship and methods applications and production schedules consistent with the company"s manufacturing objectives.
* Anticipate production problems, material shortages, malfunctions, etc, and where feasible devise and implement procedures to offset loss of schedule interruptions. Diagnose tooling and equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs or replacement.
* Collaborate with Engineering to resolve problems.
* Supervise departmental housekeeping and be alert for hazardous conditions by working with the Safety Manager. Complete incident reports as required.
Education and Experience Requirements:
* High school graduate or a vocational school graduate
* Read blueprints is a must. CNC programing skills are desired.
* Hands on experience with CNC machining operations including sheet metal cutting
* Experience in Laser cutting, bending and forming sheet metal a plus.
* Require two years minimum supervisory experience.
