Job Description:
Sort Engineers own and improve test equipment applications, software and operation systems in order to enhance the quality, reliability and manufacturability of sort testing equipment. The F11x Manufacturing Engineering Team is looking for an experienced individual interested in becoming a Sort Manufacturing Engineer. It provides tactical and strategic operational support to ensure the successful development and ramp of a high-volume semiconductor sort facility.

Full time onsite required during training, estimated 6 months. After training: hybrid "work from home" to be defined by manager and employee but continued onsite will be required.

Job Description:
Sort Engineers own and improve test equipment applications, software and operation systems in order to enhance the quality, reliability and manufacturability of sort testing equipment. The F11x Manufacturing Engineering Team is looking for an experienced individual interested in becoming a Sort Manufacturing Engineer. It provides tactical and strategic operational support to ensure the successful development and ramp of a high-volume semiconductor sort facility.
The responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
- As a Process Engineer you will utilize your test expertise and creativity to sustain and resolve high volume manufacturing process issues.
- Work with manufacturing technicians to maintain and improve equipment/process capability.
- Analyze operational data such as Utilization/Availability, Ue utilization, Outs, Cycle Time, WIP segmentation, Upstream and Downstream WIP moves for monitoring sort operation performance.
- Implement operational systems to drive productivity improvements while ensuring smooth implementation of changes affecting operations.
- Automate reporting systems and indicator reports for both tactical and strategic management of material as it moves through sort factory.
- These responsibilities would include the design of instrumentation/calibration procedures and methods as well as updating and maintaining of existing instrumentation designs for new product introductions.
- As a Sort Engineer you will be responsible for maintaining the tool/instrument calibration status for the equipment.
- You will have the opportunity to partner with multiple equipment suppliers to design, upgrade and maintain your tools.
- Partners with multiple Engineering team and Automation engineers to develop a system or upgrade it or improve its business flow to enable streamlined wafer movement through the F11x sort factory.
- Have a keen insight regarding data to Identify system enhancements, make a plan around it, work it out with multiple stakeholders and drive the roadmap of its implementation.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Material Science, Electric Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics or applicable relevant degree AND 1+ years of experience in a Manufacturing or Engineering environment, OR
- Master's Degree majoring in Material Science, Electric Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or Mathematics or applicable relevant degree.
Preferred qualifications:
Minimum 1+ years of experience in one or more of the following:
- Proven track record of Problem Solving, Data Analysis Skills including statistical analysis and modeling or computer programming (SQLPathFinder or JUMP Script or Python or AI/Machine Learning).
- Comprehensive knowledge with Data analysis visualization tools:
- Advanced SQL programming (SQLPathFinder, ScriptHost, SQL Query), SAP WebI, Power BI reports development, JMP, Excel, VBA and Visual Basic/R/Python, OR Matlab
- Proven track record of driving system analysis, implementation, refinement and documentation development.
