Eyewear Specialist / Optician / Willing To Train

Eye Department is an energetic team of driven eye care professionals. We are looking for another enthusiastic and positive person to join us in creating exceptional patient experiences. Opticians at Eye Department work with patients educating and presenting the latest eyeglass lens designs and coatings technologies. Opticianry is an interesting and dynamic patient facing position that allows our team to showcase our optical expertise. To be successful at Eye Department, Opticians should be professional, outgoing and detail oriented. A sense of fashion and enthusiasm for assisting patients in selecting their new eyewear will play a big part in your success.

We would like to hear from experienced Opticians, eye care professionals and enthusiastic individuals with practical knowledge in other industries like hospitality, retail sales or fine dining. Eye care and medical insurance services require attention to detail and follow through to ensure successful outcomes. A successful candidate learns quickly and communicates efficiently.

We offer paid training and ongoing continuing education opportunities to develop our skills. We recently attended a regional continuing education conference where we learned from internationally recognized speakers, luxury fashion brands and eye care technology experts.

Optometry and eyewear are unique industries that overlap fashion, healthcare and marketing skills. We have found success in training passionate individuals with and those without direct experience. We are excited to hear from you and get to know you.

Eye Department is in the Goose Hollow neighborhood one block from the Providence Park MAX station.

We see patients Monday through Friday 9am to 5pm.
