We are hiring full-time position for an Optometric Technician & Patient Coordinator. We are looking for highly motivated, outgoing individuals with excellent communication and customer service skills to join our team. Positive, reliable, & kind team players only need apply! No medical or eyecare experience is necessary; we will train the right person. The Optometric Technician position job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Adhere to schedule, monitoring patient activity to insure smooth clinic flow and timely visits.
- Provide a friendly greeting to patients
- Maintaining accurate patient records
- Perform preliminary testing under Optometrist supervision
- Perform Digital Retinal Imaging, OCT scans, and Visual Fields
- Educate & instruct patients with contact lenses
- Maintain good patient flow
- Answer patient questions efficiently and effectively
- Clean / Maintain examination rooms and instruments
- Obtain medical histories from patients
- Review and record medications
- Record patient examination information
- Verify Insurance
- Schedule Appointments
- Prepare Patient Charts
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $13.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
