Job Summary

As an Express Technician, you will be responsible for providing efficient and high-quality automotive maintenance and repair services. You will work in a fast-paced environment, performing routine maintenance tasks and diagnosing minor vehicle issues.

Specific Job-Related Duties and Responsibilities

• Perform routine vehicle maintenance tasks, including oil changes, tire rotations, filter replacements, and fluid checks, in an efficient and timely manner.
• Diagnose minor mechanical and electrical problems, utilizing diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles, identifying potential issues and recommending appropriate solutions.
• Complete minor repairs, such as replacing brake pads, spark plugs, and belts, following established guidelines and procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth workflow and efficient service delivery.
• Maintain accurate records of services provided, including parts used, labor hours, and customer interactions.
• Keep up to date with automotive technology advancements and industry trends.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.
• Interact with customers in a courteous and professional manner, addressing their questions and concerns.
• Assist senior technicians with complex repairs or projects, as needed.

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational or technical training program in automotive technology is preferred.
• Proven experience as an automotive technician or Express Technician.
• Strong knowledge of vehicle systems, components, and diagnostic tools.
• Proficiency in performing routine maintenance tasks, such as oil changes, tire rotations, and filter replacements.
• Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot minor mechanical and electrical issues.
• Familiarity with automotive repair manuals and technical specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
