Express Lube Technician

Subaru of Baton Rouge is hiring Express Lube Technician. If you are qualified, dependable, and ready to work, please submit your resume.

No experience is necessary but MUST be mechanically inclined and have the willingness to learn.

Duties/Responsibilities:

Perform basic maintenance on vehicles such below:

• DMS (Repair orders, MPI, estimates, and manufacturer website login)
• Oil and Filter Changes
• Multi Point Inspections
• Tire Rotations
• Cabin Filters
• Air Filters
• Wiper Blades
• Bulbs
• Tire Light (Air Pressure)
• Tire Light (Not Air Pressure)
• Mount and Balance Tires
• Fluid service, drain and refill (Transmission, Coolant, Brake, Fuel, Driveline)
• Batteries (12-volt battery, testing, charging, and replacement)
• Assist with keeping shop clean.
• Collaborate with service advisors and communicate.
• Perform multi-point inspections.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Ability to perform maintenance in a timely and safely fashion
• Monday to Saturday (every other Saturday required).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
