Job Summary

Seeking a highly organized individual looking to start a career in Logistics to join our operations team in Brooklyn, NY. As this is an entry-level position, no prior experience required, but the position does require someone who is computer-savvy, detail-oriented, and bilingual in English and Chinese.

The Role

The person who we’re looking for will be assigned the following duties:

• Ensure that all contract documents are complete and conform to required standards and export regulations.
• Receive, review, and process export documentation such as B/L and AWB.
• Data entry and maintain shipment info in a timely and accurate manner.
• Tracking/tracing of shipments.
• Coordinate any necessary transportation to make sure that delivery has been completed.
• Ensure cargo pick-up and delivery on schedule.
• Ensure that all documents are in proper order scan, fax, and file documents.
• Handle pick-up instructions and sends arrival notices.
• Analyze airline capacity and performance.
• Provide excellent customer service to customers.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Bilingual in English and Mandarin Chinese required.
• Experience with air Export Operations preferred.
• Experience with small parcels, cargo, and e-commerce shipping and handling preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
• Ability to work independently with good interpersonal skills.
• Detail oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Accurate data entry skills.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
