Form of workWe are looking for an Export Manager in Warehouse Operations which is a hands-on role based in High Point, NC who is responsible for efficiently managing the export process. This entry-level position primarily focuses on gathering consolidation paperwork, preparing export documentation, and ensuring accurate loading and shipment of goods.
Responsibilities:
Gather consolidation paperwork for export shipments.
Assist in preparing accurate export documentation, including customs requirements specific to each country we ship to.
Ensure all boxes and items are correctly labeled and loaded onto the dock.
Oversee the loading process to prevent errors and discrepancies.
Conduct meticulous checks on carton markings to guarantee accuracy.
Ensure all paperwork is completed correctly to meet export standards.
Demonstrate a proactive attitude towards problem-solving.
Utilize online resources, including YouTube and Google, to find answers and enhance skills.
Work closely with warehouse team members to facilitate smooth export operations.
Communicate effectively to resolve any issues that may arise during the export process.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of business communication and documentation.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Willingness to learn and adapt to fast-paced export operations.
Good interpersonal and teamwork skills.
Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.
Proactive and curious approach to problem-solving.
