EXPERIENCED Veterinary CSR

·        NEEDED- EXPERIENCED Veterinary Customer Service Representative

The ideal candidate will be a friendly, highly motivated, and extremely organized veterinary CSR who works well under fast-paced pressure. In this administrative role, you will be responsible for but not limited to:

• Ability to manage a busy multi-line phone system
• Ability to manage and properly route all communications (phones, emails, text messaging, and fax)
• Ensure that all client information is up-to-date and accurate
• Ensure that all patient information is up-to-date and accurate
• Properly scheduling medical and surgical appointments
• Encourage retail sales of OTC, food, and other items available to our client/patient
• Properly checking in and checking out our patients
• Ensure during check-in that all information around the appointment is accurate before routing the patient to the nursing team and doctors
• Verify at check out that our patients have all prescribed medication, food, etc.
• Properly invoice and charge out our clients
• You may also be asked to help fill prescriptions and/or provide instructions to pet owners
• Ensure that all after-hours phone call messages are responded to and handled properly
• Ensure that all daily emails are answered  in a timely fashion or routed to the proper person
• Ensure that all daily follow-up calls are completed 
• Ensure that the day before reminder calls/texts/emails go out
• Ensure that all monthly reminders, emails, and/or calls, go out 
• Ability to manage daily front office financials
• Ability to properly do end-of-day closeout

Position Qualifications and Requirements:

• REQUIRED-High School Diploma 
• REQUIRED- Basic Math Skills
• REQUIRED- EXCELLENT Customer Service & Computer Skills
• The PREFERRED candidate will have 5-plus years experience as a veterinary professional
• A minimum of 2 years experience as a veterinary professional is NEEDED for this position 
• Experience with the ezyVet & VetRadar Software would be Huge Plus
• REQUIRED- Experience with veterinary software
• Ability to prioritize
