Experienced Tig Welder Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated, Experienced Tig Welder to join our company as a Welder/Fabricator. As part of our team, you construct and manufacture metal parts and products, taking particular care to produce clean, polished welds. You follow blueprints, determine material measurements, and take responsibility for fabricating items accurately and in a timely manner.

Tig Welder Duties and Responsibilities

• Fabricate Stainless Steel Hoppers, Tanks, Parts, etc.
• Cut and prep material as needed
• Follow blueprints to ensure items are fabricated accurately
• Produce strong, clean welds

Tig Welder Requirements and Qualifications

• Prior experience tig welding, preferably in a manufacturing environment (3+ years)
• Ability to weld stainless steel and aluminum sheet metal from 16GA to 1/2" thickness
• Familiarity with common welding tools and procedures, including TIG welding, metal fabricating, grinding, and finishing metals
• Ability to use plasma cutting tools and torch cutting tools (preferred but not required)
• Ability to stand, crouch, and occasionally lift heavy equipment
• Blueprint reading and knowledge of common welding symbols

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
