Responsibilities:
- Greet and seat guests in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Take food and drink orders accurately and efficiently
- Deliver food and beverages to tables promptly
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive and personalized service
- Answer questions about menu items, ingredients, and any specials or promotions
- Upsell menu items and suggest additional offerings to enhance the dining experience
- Process payments and handle cash transactions
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Clear tables and reset them for the next guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area
Skills:
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to anticipate guest needs and provide personalized recommendations
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations
- Experience using register and credit card machine
- Familiarity with OpenTable Doordash Grubhub ordering etc
- Ability to work collaboratively with kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
- Sales skills to promote menu items and upsell offerings
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a Server in the food industry is preferred
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift trays of food or drink when necessary
- Excellent communication skills to interact with guests, colleagues, and management effectively
