PCB Designer in Chippewa Falls, WI (100% remote). Ideally, you will be responsible for the design of complex multilayer digital, power supply, or RF circuit cards and will work with the library team, layout designers, electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing engineers to produce high-quality designs per the defined requirements and schedule.

Responsibilities:

Create Logic and Footprint symbols for design engineers
Collaborate with ECAD Library team and internal engineering customers
Collaborate with mechanical design engineers to ensure mechanical accuracy
Experience with mechanical dimensioning and both English and metric units of measure
Comply with IPC-7351 standards and follow the established client's design and fabrication guidelines.
Demonstrates a sense of urgency, commitment, and customer focus

Must to have:

Minimum of 10 years of professional experience creating schematic symbols and layout footprints using ECAD tools
Experience and knowledge of PCB design technologies for military, airborne, and space, PCB layout techniques, electrical schematics,
Cadence HDL and Allegro. Ability to read and interpret vendor component data sheets ECAD Tool REQUIRED!
MUST be able to work well with a team and collaborate with the PCB Librarian

Desired Characteristics:

Cadence Allegro Experience
HDL Experience
DFA spacing and tables
Knowledge of Cadence ECAD tools
IPC certification CID or CID+
Understanding of the BOM/ECO process
Experience using PLM tools
Familiar with geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

Familiarity with industry standard busses (PCIe Gen4/5, SPI, DDR5, high-speed networks)

Educational Qualifications:

8 years EXP with a degree
10 years EXP without a degree
AA or Higher is preferred but not required
