Our busy pediatric primary care practice seeks an experienced RN/LPN to join our team. The available position is full-time but we would consider a part-time schedule for the right applicant. Candidates must be willing to work occasional Saturdays. Interested candidates should submit a resume with a cover letter detailing nursing experience, salary expectations, and a copy of their active Massachusetts Nursing License.
Suitable candidates must possess:
- The ability to work independently and as a member of the team while maintaining a positive, professional "team player" attitude to provide excellent patient care.
- Skills in critical thinking, problem-solving, and collaboration.
- The ability to function in a busy work setting while addressing a variety of situations including patient/provider questions and needs, answering nurse triage advice line, and perform administrative tasks such as prior authorizations, health forms, etc...
- The ability to perform typical nursing tasks such as taking vital signs, injections, pediatric vaccinations, hearing and vision screening, simple phlebotomy/specimen collection, assisting with GYN and other minor procedures, stocking and ordering, scheduling appointments within the nursing department, telephone triage, and patient education.
- Proficiency in using an electronic medical record, EPIC strongly preferred
- Medical office nursing expreinece is required. Pediatric office nursing experience is strongly preferred.
- Proof of Covid Vaccination is recommended.
Salary and benefits are dependent on experience and average hours worked per week.
