Experienced Medical Assistant

Job Description:

Fast paced environment, busy multi-physician ENT practice in Austin, TX looking for an Experienced Medical Assistant. We are in search for an energetic, hard-working, responsible and reliable team player who can assist our Physician's to do what they do best. Responsibilities:

• Rooming patients and obtaining vital signs, .
• Assisting physicians with in-office diagnostic and surgical procedures. Sterile technique required.
• Cleaning exam rooms and cleaning/sterilizing instruments.
• Must know how to use autoclave, sterilization process.
• Documentation in EHR.
• Communication with patients regarding lab results, medication issues, physician orders and post-operative medical issues.
• Sending out patient prescriptions and lab orders as directed by physicians.
• Communicating with staff to assist with patient care.
• Must be open to travel with the possibility of helping in our Austin office on occasion.

Job Requirements:

• Two years of clinical experience in a physician’s office.
• Be a team player with a positive attitude.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
