Job Description:
CamNet, Inc is seeking a talented and motivated Low-Voltage Systems Programmer with at least 5 years’ experience in programming to join our team. As a Low-Voltage Systems Programmer, you will be responsible for designing, installing, programming, configuring, and troubleshooting low-voltage systems to meet our clients’ specific needs. You will work closely with our clients and project teams to deliver innovative solutions that enhance security, automation, and communication systems.
Key responsibilities:
• Systems Design: Collaborate with project teams and clients to understand system requirements and design low-voltage systems that meet these specific needs.
• Programming: Develop and customize software programs to control and integrate various low-voltage systems, including security, access control, audio-visual and intercom & clock systems.
• Integration: Ensure seamless integration of low-voltage systems to provide a comprehensive solution for clients.
• Testing and Quality Assurance: Conduct through testing of programmed systems to identify and rectify any issues, ensuring the systems meet performance and reliability standards.
• Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation of system designs, programming code, and configurations for reference and future maintenance.
• Client Training: Provide training to clients and end-users on how to operate and maintain low-voltage systems effectively.
• Technical Support: Offer technical support and troubleshooting assistance to clients and internal teams as needed.
• Stay Current: Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in low-voltage technology and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.
Qualifications:
• 5 years’ experience in programming Low-Voltage Systems such as security, access control, audio-visual, Intercom and Clocks.
• Familiarity with industry-specific software and tools
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a tea.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Verkada, Isonas, Avigilon, Genetec, Bosch)
• Some travel throughout the state
• Reliable vehicle and Valid Driver’s License
• Security/Criminal Background Check
• PPE a plus
