SalaryThis opening is for a skilled Heating Technician. Candidate must be able to show an aptitude in diagnosing and repairing all manner of oil fired burners, furnaces, boilers, and preferably gas fired equipment as well. This position is open to any Heating Technician, including former RHS employees.
Join our team! Rocky’s Heating Service is a company based on honesty, integrity, and quality of workmanship. We are currently recruiting for full time experienced Heating Technicians to provide service to our residential and commercial clients.
Winter work consists of unscheduled service calls and move up work. Summer work is typically residential annual maintenance, but depending on experience may be gas system/boiler/furnace installation, unscheduled service, or commercial PM service. We don't have a spring slump/slow down, but it is easy to request time off to enjoy all that interior Alaska has to offer in the summertime. Enjoy taking a scheduled week off to go fishing with the knowledge that you are using your vacation time to be paid while standing on the bank of the river.
This position includes joining the well compensated on-call rotation. Compensation for on-call includes overtime pay, a $100 spiff per billable call, plus $40 per day to compensate for warranty/return calls and the weight in your pocket for carrying a work provided smartphone around.

Salary: From $35.00 per hour, up to $45 for a qualified, knowledgeable, prompt, professional, and courteous candidate.
