We are looking for experienced trimmers to join our residential new construction team! Our trimmers transform the interior of a newly constructed residential structure and add the finishing touches that make it a home. They install things like baseboards, casing around windows and doors, railings and stairwork, and other details. Trimmers must be deliberate and precise in their work as it is quite literally, the finishing touch.

KEY REQUIREMENTS
- Install Base/Shoe
- Install Hardware (knobs, latches, strike plates, etc.)
- Hang Doors (swing, double, bi-pass, French, pocket, etc.)
- Install Shelving
- Case Doors
- Case Windows
- Finishing Sill
- Scuttle (garage, interior)
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other layouts.
- Accurately measure, cut, and install various fixtures and woodwork
- Ensure a snug fit and smooth transition in joints; trim and sand surfaces as needed
- Verify quality of materials to ensure quality finished product
- Must be able to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment and meet strict deadlines
WILL TRAIN:
- Handrail
- Stairwork (Stringers, spindles, skirtboards)
- Misc. other finishes (int/ext posts, 2-step, transitions, full-wrap windows, etc.)
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to safely lift/carry 50-75lbs or more frequently
- Ability to stand and/or walk for long periods of time
- Ability to bend, crouch, twist, kneel, reach, etc.
- Ability to complete various repetitive movements
- Exceptional finger dexterity
- Requires exposure to high places
- Requires working outdoors, exposed to all weather conditions
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Effective time management
- Critical thinking/problem solving
- Must be reliable, punctual, and have strong work ethic
- Must own or be willing to obtain some relevant/proper tools; pouch(es)
- Must have reliable transportation to and from job site(s)
- Valid driver’s license strongly preferred
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- Ability to use basic and intermediate hand tools and power tools/machinery
- Basic math skills
- Exceptional written and oral communication (English)
EXPERIENCE
- General construction knowledge
- Finish Carpentry (2+ years minimum)
SHIFT DETAILS
- Mondays through Fridays, 8-hour shifts
- No nights/ No weekends
