SalaryExperienced Driver Manager. The Driver Manager will execute, direct, and coordinate shipments. Duties/Responsibilities:
- Make sure that all routes are optimized, and the loads are delivered on time.
- Maintains knowledge of regulations related to transportation including those related to employee safety, and freight classifications.
- Ensures compliance with administrative policies and procedures, safety rules, environmental policies, and government regulations.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong logistical, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Experience:
- Experience managing CDL class A drivers.
- Knowledge of Operations, Hours of Service regulations, and DOT / State Regulations within the transportation industry
Physical Requirements:
- Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
