We are a fast-growing independent Amazon Delivery Service Partner (DSP) based in San Diego, Ca (POWAY, 92064). Our mission is to provide exceptional, reliable, and timely delivery services to Amazon customers while maintaining a culture of safety, efficiency, and teamwork. We are looking for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team and help us scale our business while consistently exceeding customer expectations.

Position Overview: The Operations Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our delivery service, ensuring maximum efficiency and effectiveness in all aspects of the business. This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a dedication to customer satisfaction. As an Operations Supervisor, you will lead a team of delivery associates, ensuring they have the necessary resources and support to provide exceptional service. Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations, including dispatching, routing, and delivery coordination for a fleet of vehicles.
- Develop and implement effective operational strategies and processes to optimize performance, cost, and service quality.
- Oversee hiring, training, and development of delivery associates, fostering a culture of teamwork, safety, and excellence.
- Maintain a strong working relationship with Amazon, ensuring compliance with their performance metrics, standards, and guidelines.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement, implement corrective actions, and track progress.
- Collaborate with other managers and stakeholders to develop and execute strategic plans for growth and expansion.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding vehicle maintenance, safety, and employment practices.
- Continuously evaluate and optimize routing and scheduling processes to maximize efficiency and customer satisfaction.
- Proactively address and resolve customer complaints and concerns, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
- Manage budgets, financial reporting, and cost control to ensure the profitability and sustainability of the business.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in the logistics, transportation, or e-commerce industry.
- Proven track record of managing and improving operational performance, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving, decision-making, and analytical skills.
- Familiarity with Amazon's delivery operations, processes, and performance metrics is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and experience with routing and dispatch software.
- Ability to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
