We are a small precision machine shop with a low-turnover rate looking for a Lead CNC Operator/Machinist who wants to make a career with us.

Sancliff is a 75-Year-old family-owned high-mixed, low volume, fast paced precision machine shop located in Farmville NC & Worcester, MA. Sancliff, Inc. manufactures Tight tolerance, custom machined tools and dies for the Optical Fiber, Wire & Cable, medical, military, microwave, aerospace and telecommunications markets.

Sancliff, Inc. is looking to expand by adding an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer to our team.

As a Machinist/Programmer with Sancliff, Inc. you will be responsible for:

• Programming, set-up and operation of various 3, 4 & 5-axis vertical mills, CNC Lathes, Surface and OD grinders, RAM & Wire EDM’s, Hones and support machinery as well as adjustments to fixtures and inspection of CNC machined components to strict customer part specifications.

• You must possess strong drawing, programming, manufacturing and inspection skills.

• You will be required to convey important information about job status, part quality and estimated completion time as needed.

• Responsible for assisting other operators in the department with machine set-ups and general manufacturing practices. Oversees trains and instructs operators as needed.

Candidates should possess the following:

• 2+ years CNC machining experience or equivalent education.

• Proficiency with Mastercam, Proto-trak and/or Fusion or similar drawing and programming experience

• Dedication and drive to develop and implement new methods of programming, fixturing and manufacturing in order to improve quality, reduce cost and further continuous improvement.

• Highest attention to detail, quality, tolerances and on-time delivery.

• Possess the dedication and drive to be a Class A Machinist and Programmer and has creative problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work both as a team player and independently with minimum supervision.

• Critical thinking, good communication, and creative problem-solving skills.

• Positive attitude, punctuality, dependability, effort and energy.

• Must be legal to work in the US.
