Experienced Bread Baker (Pt-Ft)

Hello Friend! The Sparrow Bakery is a busy, medium-sized, well respected, regional, wholesale and retail bakery specializing in hand laminated croissants, artisan breads, and crave-worthy café foods. We are searching for a PT-FT (3-4+ days/week) Experienced Bread Baker (or a very eager, skilled, committed Apprentice!) to add to our team.

The hours of this position are typically 5pm-1am; which can work really well if you're somewhat of a night owl and/or enjoy taking advantage of our beautiful days here in Bend! The preferred days of work for this position are Tuesday-Saturday.

Baking for our company you can expect to hone and develop fine motor skills, attention to detail, appreciation for aesthetics, and working with urgency. These positions are labor intensive and will require you to be on your feet. Whether you are baking our artisan breads, or creating our most famous Ocean Roll, paying close attention to minute details and having a fondness for toasty temperatures are a must. As an experienced Baker, you know having a profound respect for proving and timing is also very important.

Pay will depend upon relevant experience:

• $18.50-$22/hour DOE
