Experienced Service Express Technician

Qualifications:
- Must have minimum set of tools necessary to perform basic maintenance.
- High school diploma or the equivalent ASE certification (preferred not required).
- Worked in a dealership or independent repair facility for at least 6 months.
- Consistent work history (no job hoppers; will not recruit if more than two jobs in one year)
- Basic tool set
- PASS A BACKGROUND CHECK AND DRUG SCREENING.VALID DRIVER LICENSE AND GOOD DRIVING RECORD
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform the following: oil and filter change, engine air and pollen filter replacement, wiper blade replacement, battery diagnostic check and replacement, exterior bulb replacement, minor services such as spark plug, transmission fluid, or coolant replacement.
- Execute work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards.
- Perform basic maintenance including oil and filter change, tire rotations, battery replacements, pollen filters, and engine air filters.
- Save and tag parts if the job is under warranty or if requested by the customer.
- Examine the vehicle to determine if additional safety or service work is required.
- Advise service advisor immediately if additional work is needed, if work outlined is not needed, or if repairs cannot be completed within the time promised.
- Document work performed.
- Attend factory-sponsored training classes.Keep abreast Subaru factory technical bulletins.
- Ensure that customers' cars are kept clean. Keep shop area neat and clean and be able to account for all dealership-owned tools at all times.
- Understand and follow federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes.
