SalaryLooking for someone to join our team at a horse farm with around 25 horses in Newnan, Georgia. Prior experience around horses 100% required. Duties include minimal stall cleaning, grooming, bathing, preparing grain, turning horses in/out, providing fresh hay/water, etc. You will be working alongside a great team of people. Hours are typically 7:30am-3:30pm. Plenty of riding opportunities available as well for experienced candidates. Everything from young horses to upper level/FEI eventers and jumpers. On site housing & opportunity to bring your own horse can be discussed. Looking for someone that is willing to occasionally travel to shows with us and help groom for head trainer, as well as someone that is competent/comfortable with managing the horses and staff at home while we are away at shows. MUST BE RELIABLE. Must be attentive to detail and self motivated. Must have reliable transportation. Zero tolerance for no shows. Must pass a background check. Pay is based on experience, with potential for a raise once proven reliable/dedicated to the position.
