This position will report to the CEO, and work closely with the President, and serve as a key member of the Senior Management Team. The VP and Director of Asset Management will review, develop, and revise the necessary business plans and budgets for existing real estate or legacy properties.

- For properties currently under construction working closely with the CEO and President in monitoring and addressing cost savings and value engineering changes in the context of reducing costs, maintaining, and minimizing impact to schedule, and retaining overall product quality and integrity.
- On projects currently under construction work closely with our marketing department and property management team in establishing preopening and post-opening business plans.
- Approve all new office leases. Actively be involved in the negotiation and completion of various property-related operating agreements such as retail and management agreements.
- Work with the Capital Markets team in refinancing and recapitalizing properties as and when appropriate in each case.
- Work with the CEO and the head of pre-development, on predevelopment and pre-construction for the next multifamily high-rise building at HALL Park and the future retail center, residential, and office mixed-use building.
- To oversee our marketing, property management, and development/construction teams.
- Pursue opportunistic acquisitions of Class A offices in the Dallas/Fort Worth area or possibly other Texas cities.
- Become familiar with Hall Structured Finance, its programs, and operations with the idea of ultimately some potential involvement. This would not be a primary function at the outset.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the manager.
Qualifications:
- Degrees will be taken into consideration, but it’s not required.
- 10+ years of relevant work experience.
- Comfortable with numbers and the fundamentals of real estate, and the ability to asset manage our portfolio on value creation and bottom line approach.
- Project management and analytical skills
- The ability to manage a team and manage other people is going to be critical.
