Work you'll do
We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable individual to join our team as an Executive Support Specialist. This role requires a diverse skill set including policy writing, Executive Support, exceptional customer service, flexibility, a willingness to learn, and familiarity with DS&J client protocol.
The team
Deloitte's Government and Public Services (GPS) practice - our people, ideas, technology and outcomes-is designed for impact. Serving federal, state, & local government clients as well as public higher education institutions, our team of over 15,000+ professionals brings fresh perspective to help clients anticipate disruption, reimagine the possible, and fulfill their mission promise.
The GPS Strategy offering leads strategic planning & portfolio management and reporting & monitoring workstreams. This includes day-to-day client interaction and leads to the creation of relevant resources and materials (such as strategic plans, roadmaps, etc.) and work products (such as development of performance metrics, tracking dashboards, etc.) in order to successfully implement client vision.
Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Must have an Active Secret and local to Washington DC Metro Area
  • 2+ years experience in policy writing and Executive Support.
  • Demonstrates excellent oral and written communication skills with experience (and/or skills) in production and dissemination of finished intelligence products and/or intelligence and information sharing policy documents.

Preferred:
  • Ability to think critically and analytically, as well as broadly and strategically.
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and handle multiple tasks
