THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON BID AWARD

 

The Executive Leadership Coach will support the Air Force Research Laboratory (AFRL) team members from multiple levels of the organization in the fundamentals of leadership behavior and competencies through greater personal accountability.


Responsibilities
  • Conduct biweekly one-on-one coaching sessions for up to 100 people to improve the behaviors and the personal and professional development experiences of each team member.
  • Advise and support team members through regular coaching sessions in a manner that apprises and informs how each individual engages and contributes to the organizational culture.
  • Advise and collaborate with team members in one-on-one sessions to develop a personal best development plan. Development plans shall consist of individual goals that expand the contributions each team member will make to establishing the desired organizational culture.
  • Facilitate individual and team interactions virtually or on-site among the individuals participating in the engagement to create connections across the organization.
  • Hold periodic ad-hoc check-ins with each individual participating in the engagement to assess progress and adjust development plans, as necessary.
  • Provide support to individuals participating in the engagement, as necessary.  
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing. This includes regular communication with Program Manager and consistent daily/weekly/monthly progress reports and status updates on project deliverables.
  • Provide and set up meeting coordination in a manner that allow use of 711 HPW intrinsic equipment and preferred software/collaboration platform.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
  • Master’s degree OR certification in Personal and Executive Coaching
  • PhD in Consulting Psychology or similar field recognized coaching certification in human performance preferred.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of professional experience working with organizations to improve the behaviors and the personal and professional development experiences of each team member.
  • Minimum two (2) years of experience building personal best development plans or similar programs for cross-functional, regionally dispersed workforces.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

  • Experience working with clients in a remote setting, through various channels including email, ZOOM, MS Teams, etc.
  • Possess strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire clients.
  • Experience with Leadership Coaching at the individual and team levels.
  • Knowledge of biopsychosocial approaches to employee development, is a plus.
  • Knowledge of cultural transformation strategies and aligning individual coaching for development with the organizational mission.
  • Experience working with leadership competencies and linking behavioral indicators with competency maps.
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision, and as part of a team.
  • Organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously.
  • Possess communication skills and ability to convey complex information or abstract ideas clearly to coworkers, managers, and Sr. Leadership.
  • Ability to travel as needed.
