As a Hotel Executive Housekeeper, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the cleanliness, comfort, and overall guest satisfaction within the hotel. You will be responsible for overseeing the housekeeping department, managing a team of housekeeping staff, and maintaining high standards of cleanliness and orderliness throughout the hotel.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Management:
- Provide strong leadership to the housekeeping team, fostering a positive and efficient work environment.
- Recruit, train, and supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring they adhere to established standards and procedures.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback to enhance staff performance.
Operational Oversight:
- Develop and implement cleaning procedures to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Coordinate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless service delivery and guest satisfaction.
- Monitor and manage housekeeping budgets, controlling costs while maintaining service quality.
Quality Assurance:
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces to ensure cleanliness and adherence to standards.
- Address and resolve guest concerns and complaints related to housekeeping matters promptly and professionally.
- Implement and maintain a quality control program to ensure consistent service excellence.
Inventory and Supplies Management:
- Oversee the procurement of cleaning supplies and equipment, ensuring adequate stock levels are maintained.
- Monitor and control expenses related to housekeeping supplies and equipment.
- Establish relationships with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and quality.
Training and Development:
- Develop and conduct regular training programs for housekeeping staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Keep the team updated on the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices.
