PURPOSE OF THE JOB
This position is a member of the Corporate Compensation/Total Rewards Team and is responsible for the administration of the Owens Corning stock plans, as well as providing equity compensation reporting and analytical support. Major responsibilities include administrating day-to-day and annual restricted stock activity, the Employee Stock Purchase Plan (ESPP), partnering with the Legal and Finance departments on equity related activity, and providing support for various Executive Compensation related matters. Data and analytical skills are important to be successful in this role, as well as the ability to manage various third-party vendors.
Reports to: Executive Compensation Leader
Span of Control: This position has no direct reports.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Equity Compensation Administrative

  • End-to-end processing of all stock vestings and cash dividend distributions throughout the year, as well as processing bulk transactions during the annual LTI vesting period in Q1. Some of the responsibilities involve:
    • Auditing participant taxes and set-up of US and non-US participant taxes at Fidelity.
    • Managing the taxation and processing of retirement eligibility and deferred grants.
    • Recording transactions in payroll appropriately and reconciling with reports at Fidelity
    • Creating files for the directing of shares at the transfer agent (DWACs)
    • Providing and coordinating the flow of tax and other information with regional Global Compensation teams, Global Mobility team, and third-party tax advisor.
    • Managing deferred equity grant processes
  • Processing of all stock grants, including new annual grants in Q1
  • Administer the Employee Stock Purchase Program (ESPP) - manage and promote semi-annual enrollment periods, monitor deductions and refunds, and execute the purchase at the end of each offering
  • Quarterly Dividend Administration - reconciling Fidelity estimate reports and approving final dividend estimates
  • Partner with the Global Compensation team by participating in annual compensation planning process, specifically Long Term Incentive (LTI) planning. Support LTI data submission to annual competitive market surveys.

Executive Compensation
  • Assist with Executive Compensation tasks related to equity plans and other elements of compensation
  • Prepare reports and analytics for BOD Compensation Committee meetings
  • Assist with preparation of compensation-related sections of the proxy, including CD&A tables and CEO Pay Ratio
  • Partner with Legal department on insider trading processes and provide information for SEC compliance reporting for Section 16b
  • Board of Director Compensation - calculate quarterly board payments, set-up stock grants at Fidelity and oversee the 1099 form process with Tax department

Analytics and Reporting
  • Utilize payroll and Fidelity reporting to reconcile ESPP deductions and online accounts
  • Perform detailed quarterly stock reconciliations for Accounting and Treasury
  • Leveraging Fidelity's robust reporting platform for adhoc needs or requests

Vendor Management and Subject Matter Expert
  • Daily collaboration with the third-party stock plan administrator - Fidelity
  • Subject matter expert with the tools needed to administer the stock plans on Fidelity's platform
  • Oversee vendor generated employee communications related to the stock plans
  • Provide updates and constructive feedback to vendors
  • Responsible for being the subject matter expert (SME) for stock plan activity
  • Remain current with relevant laws by leveraging NASPP and other education resources
  • SME for payroll activity related to stock transactions

JOB REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • CEP Preferred
  • Minimum 3 years Compensation or Benefits administration experience with exposure to public company equity compensation
  • Finance, Math, or Human Resource background preferred
  • Experience working with third-party administrators
  • Proven track record of success in collaborating with others and providing administrative support

  • Demonstrated independence and ability to work individually as needed
  • Data driven with strong analytical skills
  • Ability to coordinate multiple activities on a daily basis
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills (written and verbal) and organizational skills and the ability to interact effectively with a wide variety of constituencies
  • Strong computer skills, specifically in Excel, PowerPoint and Word

The salary range for this position is $85,000-110,000 with the potention of an addtional 25% based on qualifications.
