```Duties```
-Opens and sets up the kitchen for the day.
-Ensures all food safety regulations are followed.
-Trains employees in proper procedures, collecting inventory, reading tickets, and menu competence.
-Monitors consistency of food presentation before reaching the customer. -Accurately follows and adheres to established recipes.
-Thoroughly cleans work stations and equipment prior to the end of shift. -Coordinates food orders to ensure an efficient delivery to each table. -Has a thorough understanding of proper operations of all equipment. -Assists and delegates tasks to the Prep Cook and Dishwasher/Custodial Services.
-Organizes and puts away food and paper deliveries with Pastry Chef and Baker's Assistant, or delegates this task to the Prep Cook or Dishwasher/Custodial Services.
-Communicates with the FOH Manager and Pastry Chef.
```Experience```
-3-5 years experience in the foodservice/hospitality industry. Servsafe Certification required. 21+ years old.
- Previous experience working as a cook in a catering or restaurant setting is required
- Knowledge of food handling techniques, including knife skills and proper cooking temperatures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Familiarity with menu planning and the ability to create dishes that meet dietary restrictions or preferences
- Understanding of food safety regulations and the ability to maintain a clean and sanitary kitchen environment
