SUMMARY:
The Executive Catering Attendant is responsible for creating a professional catered dining experience that leaves a great impression on employees & their clients. The attendant will be a point of contact for all catering set-ups, breakdowns and
coordination with vendors.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Extend courteous greetings to employees and clients at front-of-the-house locations, creating a welcoming atmosphere.
- Build and maintain relationships with catering vendors to ensure seamless support for various events.
- Design and produce attractive buffet signage to guide guests in their selections, maintaining attention to detail.
- Assist in the ordering and coordination of catering for office events and meetings.
- Demonstrate knowledge of common food allergens and familiarity with catering equipment and setup processes.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of buffets and food service areas before, during, and after events.
- Replenish service items and food during events and meetings, maintaining a well-stocked and presentable setup.
- Ensuring the pantries are organized, clean and coffee is regularly brewed during business hours.
- Conference Room Knowledge – Understand the capabilities of a conference room and demonstrate basic level of knowledge around AV and room capacity.
- Preferred ServSafe Certification for adherence to food safety standards.
- Provide informed information about the office, building, local transportation, restaurants, and other points of interest.
- Contribute to restocking kitchen and pantry supplies, ensuring availability for daily operations.
- Communicate effectively with peers through accurate and detailed verbal and written communications.
- Stay aware of business activities and share updates with team members to maintain a cohesive work environment.
- Interact collaboratively with all other departments, fostering effective cross functional communication.
- Conduct opening and closing walkthroughs as needed, ensuring smooth operational transitions.
- Provide exceptional internal and external customer support at, ensuring a high level of service by being present in high traffic areas.
- Perform other duties as assigned, contributing to the overall success of the hospitality team.

- Two to three years’ experience in a catering/food & beverage service environment
