We want family members that make significant impacts within the company and in their communities.We are currently seeking an exceptional Executive Bookkeeper with tax accountant experience to support our CEO's parent organization MATHIS. This individual will be responsible for managing the financial records of multiple entities, ensuring compliance with tax laws, and providing financial insights to our CEO.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the company's financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal tax laws, including preparation and filing of tax returns
- Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
- Analyze financial data to provide insights to business leaders and support strategic decision-making
- Assist with budget preparation and forecasting
- Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure financial stability and accuracy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all financial transactions
- Work with external auditors to ensure compliance with accounting standards and best practices
- Monitor and report on the company's financial performance, including variances from budget and forecasts
- Provide guidance and training to other staff members on financial procedures and best practices
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting or bookkeeping, including tax accounting experience
- Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal tax laws
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
- Proficiency QuickBooks accounting software
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.

The second mission is outward focused. It’s what we do for the students, clients and the people we work with. That is 100% cleaning out the “Investment and Financial Education” space. Our mission is to clean out the Investment and Financial Education space from “old school education” that is optimized for the educator’s profit. We find that they are good at marketing, good at sales but not great at the education portion and that’s primarily what the industry looks like as of now. We have the opportunity to be on the opposite side of the spectrum. We are optimized for student profit. We know the students made an investment and we keep track of their success. Our goal is to get people who want to come into our program and help grow so that when someone makes the choice to learn, to become more financially literate, to make more money for their family they are able to do so. We want people to take a chance to be rewarded for investing their money into financial education.
