Job Summary:

The Executive Board Relations Administrator coordinates Opportunity Partners’ Board of Directors activities, communication, coordination, and keeps official corporate records of board and committee meetings. This part-time position requires a commitment of 10 to 40 hours per month in working with our CEOs and Board of Directors.

Wage: $25.00 per hour

How you will make a difference at Opportunity Partners:

  1. Manages activities of and communications with the Board of Directors. Based on issues being addressed, proactively provides Board members with the necessary data, materials and resources necessary for them to fulfill their fiduciary, strategic and generative responsibilities.
  2. Interfaces with Board Members, particularly the Executive Committee, in planning annual and ongoing activities including meetings and retreats. Assists with planning for the meeting/offsite to an actual event, including speakers, consultants, agendas and all logistical details.
  3. Plans and coordinates recruitment meetings and orientation activities related to new Board members.
  4. Coordinates quarterly Board of Director meetings and Committee meetings. Generates and distributes agendas, minutes, and other needed documents prior to meetings as appropriate. You will come into our Minnetonka office to set up our boarding meetings.
  5. Provides ongoing communication with and assistance to Board officers and members as required.
  6. Assists with coordination of annual Board surveys and CEOs performance reviews.
  7. Drafts and maintains all corporate records, minutes, agendas, Board and Committee membership records, Board manual, etc.
  8. Assist our CEO of Operations and Strategy and CEO of Services in finding external meeting place venues and purchasing food for our leadership meetings that occur multiple times throughout the year.
  9. Gathers and summarizes data, reports and other documentation regarding operational activities and material required for meetings.
  10. Interfaces with Executive Team members as needed to gather information for Board or Committee meetings.
  11. Maintains corporate records including bylaws, contracts and related documentation.
  12. Proficiency with Microsoft Office & MS Team products and the ability to learn new tools as required.

What you will bring to Opportunity Partners:

  • Highschool/GED is required.
  • Minimum of five years of executive administrative experience in working with CEO and Board of Directors.
