Job description

The American Hospital Association (AHA) is a national organization that represents and serves all types of hospitals, health care networks, and their patients and communities. The AHA has two main offices, located in Washington, D.C. and Chicago. We are currently seeking an Executive Assistant, SVP Communications for our D.C. office. This position is a hybrid role (three days in the office, two days working remote).
Starting base salary = $70,000 - $87,500 (commensurate with related experience).

The Executive Assistant performs a wide variety of executive-level administrative tasks in support of the Senior Vice President, Communications. This position will also provide administrative and budgeting support to the Group Vice President, Communications and other Vice Presidents in the Communications Group. Displays initiative and resourcefulness in identifying and promptly and appropriately addressing issues and maintains excellent communication and working relationships with all colleagues inside and outside the American Hospital Association. Exemplifies the AHA mission, vision and values.

Experience

Required
  • 5 year(s): Minimum of 5 years of senior level administrative support experience is required. Experience supporting multiple individuals is strongly preferred.

Education

Preferred
  • Bachelors or better in Business Administration or related field
