Executive Office Administrator and Assistant to Publisher
Top notch Executive Administrator to work in bustling, friendly environment of Annapolis Home Magazine.
We are looking for an enthusiastic self-starter who can work both extremely well independently and with a team.
This is a part-time position. 20 hours per week. Please do not apply if you need a full time position.
This is an in-office position in Annapolis, MD. Some days or part of days you will be working alone in the office when other staff are out in the field.
To be considered, you must complete all questions and tests.
This position is created to assist magazine publisher in all aspects of producing a luxury publication and building a strong clientele. You will be a valued member of the Annapolis Home Magazine team and will play a central role in its operation.
20 hours per week.
Exceptional skill and experience required in Microsoft Word, Salesforce, Outlook, Excel.
Manage office
Organize and maintain all aspects of office and equipment, order supplies, deliver and mail magazines as needed, etc.
Maintain and update mailing lists.
Research businesses as needed.
Assist with planning events.
Prepare and manage contracts.
Assist with payroll and human resources.
Collect past due payments.
Maintain calendar.
Track down credits for magazine issues and secure photography releases.
Prepare sales and other reports as requested.
Assist with social media and other promotional and publication efforts.
Problem solves as needed.
Other duties as requested by the publisher.
Qualifications:
Must possess exceptional skill in all four programs---Microsoft Word, Salesforce, Outlook, Excel. Quickbooks a plus.
Very computer savvy.
Extremely organized and detail oriented.
Positive attitude and ability to resolve problems effectively.
Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written.
Deadline Oriented.
B.A. preferred.
