Shift:Monday through Friday; 7:30am – 4:30pm. This is a remote position.
Job Summary:The Executive Director for Strategic Healthcare Contract Initiatives is responsible for overseeing the achievement of all organizational strategic healthcare contract goals as required by UKHC. This position is responsible for overseeing and directing a broad range of services to the UKHC Enterprise related to contractual arrangements such as agreements for business alliances with health systems, governmental agencies and for-profit and non-profit organizations to advance the achievement and implementation of the strategic healthcare contracting goals of the UKHC Enterprise. This involves structuring and/ or administrating contractual documents for six healthcare colleges, all UKHC clinics, all hospitals and administrative areas that establish business relationships with internal and external contractors, customers and partners. These agreements represent clinical activity throughout the Commonwealth of Kentucky in excess of $300 million. This position will collaborate with internal and external partners as well as University General and Associate General Counsel. This position will ensure contracting services are provided in compliance with policies and procedures. The Executive Director will analyze contracts to ensure compliance with all applicable laws, rules, regulations and policies. This position will also advise management of contractual rights and obligations and provide interpretation of terms and conditions. This position will lead the UKHC strategic healthcare contracting program with attention to strategy, regulations and oversight of contracting staff.

Preferred Education/Experience:8 or more years of experience in healthcare contracting or consulting, which includes drafting, coordinating and analyzing clinical and/or educational contracts preferred.
