Excel RAD Developer

Key responsibilities:

Typical end-users have intermediate MS Excel/Excel VBA skills and require assistance adding advanced functionality to their workbooks.

You will be in the Front Office and will respond to advanced MS Excel queries about what is required during the trading day with a priority on the Trade Floor. However, you might sometimes be asked to assist other business areas, so the ability to prioritize is important. You will need to be confident & positive, responsive & tenacious with a ‘can do’ attitude. You will also have longer-term development projects of your own.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience supporting and developing in MS Excel and MS Excel VBA in a financial services Front or Middle Office role (IT Help Desk background/experience a plus).

• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them

• Superb problem-solving skills

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Thrive under pressure

• Bloomberg and Bloomberg Excel Tools

• Office 365/2016 version compatibility

• Some Python / JavaScript

• Windows 10, including basic knowledge of infrastructure, AD groups to assist in troubleshooting
