Hours: 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Wage: $11.00

EVS Technician: Ensure the hospitals overall environmental services are provided in a safe, clean and sanitized manner. EVS Technicians will ensure all hospital areas including patient rooms, halls, dining areas, and work areas sparkle. Ensures all functions are accomplished following guidelines and checklists. 


Housekeeping: Ensuring the patient rooms are clean and sanitary, follows specific checklists and guidelines to ensure all areas are maintained. Ensures proper safety and handling of products including chemical cleaners. Oversee inventory and stock. 


Custodian: Maintain the cleanliness of school buildings and grounds by following specific checklists to clean areas including classrooms, hallways, common work rooms, and offices. Use proper chemicals to ensure sanitization of appropriate surfaces.


Floor Tech: responsible for cleaning, maintaining, and repairing carpeted and hard flooring surfaces in offices, and other buildings hire floor techs to scrub, polish, and wax flooring of all types during full- and part-time work shifts. Knowledge of equipment and appropriate cleaning solutions.


Porter and Project Workers: Assist the EVS Team in housekeeping, laundry, floors as well as waste management tasks throughout the facility to include resident rooms, offices, and nursing areas. Waste management includes knowledge of separation and disposal protocol for both general and medical waste. Requires attention to detail and knowledge of proper sanitation procedures


Laundry Tech: Process the linen for the facility including picking up, weighing, sorting, washing, drying, and delivering appropriate linen to the designated areas throughout the facility. Keep accurate records of equipment safety checks. Organize, label, and deliver personal laundry. Maintain laundry service area cleanliness to meet safety compliance.


Maintenance Worker: Complete internal and external building rounds and inspections. Complete general maintenance upkeep to include touch up painting, minor drywall repair, general landscaping, fire drill activities, generator testing, building equipment checks, basic plumbing, and other general tasks.


HVAC Tech: Install, maintain, and repair ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment. Clean condenser coils and change air filters. Identify maintenance risks on equipment and diagnose electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems. Keep accurate daily logs and records of all maintenance functions. Ensure compliance with applicable federal, state, and local codes and standards.


Groundskeeper: Maintain exterior appearance and safety of campus, including the use of mowing and snow removal equipment. Conduct general landscaping for foliage areas, clean entranceways, and ensure proper snow removal process is followed. During events, assist in parking of vehicles. Complete grounds security and safety rounds.


Shipping and Receiving Attendant: Perform unpacking of shipment deliveries, preparing of shipping documents, and maintaining records for all incoming and outgoing shipments. Consolidate shipping orders, create mailing labels, and deliver packages to designated areas throughout the facility campus. Maintain stock area and warehouse facilities to a safe and compliant standard.


General Seasonal Laborer: Assist in the cleaning of specified areas. Move equipment and furniture using approved moving methods and safety procedures to designated areas throughout the facility. Set up and tear down for events. Store items in appropriate locations using approved containers.


Housekeeping Lead: Lead shift operations as directed by department management, filling in and allocating employees to fill open areas. Create daily job lists and record all services rooms. Deliver excellent customer service and ensure department employees do the same. Maintain all equipment in good condition. Report on any shortages, damages, or security issues. Check and monitor stocking levels of all consumables and report to department manager.

 

QUALIFICATIONS: The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. This can be full or part-time and provides very flexible schedules. Facility cleaning experience is desired but we are ready to train motivated candidates!

 

 Requirements: 

  • Experience desired but we are willing to train candidates with a strong work ethic and understanding of the basics
  • Ability to apply elementary mathematical statistics that would apply to inventory and measuring.
