Job Description
Operate, set-up, repair, maintain, and troubleshoot EVG shelf fabrication system, all stations. Assist in monitoring quality of product/process, monitor safety on equipment, job functions, and assist in employee training.
Major Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following. Other duties may be assigned as necessary.
- Maintains communication flow with supervisor, employee and team leaders on changes, concerns, or feedback to the department's operation and process.
- Insures that shelving product is being produced to standards of quality and quantity.
- Accurately uses quality gauges to monitor the production process and log information.
- Operates forklift, tugger and pallet jack as required (with certifications).
- Performs preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Interact with necessary computer related equipment to monitor process.
- Operates and cross trains on every support station of EVG fabrication.
- Provide hand tools not supplied by the department.
- Assists in production mechanical changeovers.
- Maintains appropriate control of tools and parts.
- Assists maintenance as required during repairs and PM's.
- Maintains good housekeeping standards
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Lockout/Tagout, Forklift, and EVG Operator Certification (Once Hired)
- Must have the ability to work in a team environment and maintain regular attendance
- Must be able to work overtime as business need dictates
