We are looking for an Senior SEO Strategist to focus on our EverCommerce solution brands.
A Senior SEO Strategist at EverCommerce is passionate and experienced in SEO and digital strategies. An ideal candidate is an avid lover of SEO, digital strategy, content marketing strategies, connecting marketing data to revenue data, and consulting/training others across the organization on achieving the desired outcomes.
The Sr. SEO strategist can blend traditional SEO with creative content experiences to increase web visibility and drive quality traffic. The role requires a mix of strategic expertise across content, technical, and offsite SEO. Must be able to drive revenue growth through organic traffic and measure success via Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and other third-party tools. Will be expected to train others and implementing processes that ensure consistent best practices across the organization.
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement SEO strategies to improve organic search visibility, traffic, and conversions.
  • Conduct detailed keyword research to find the most relevant and effective terms/phrases with the highest ROI
  • Perform competitive gap and content gap analyses, and develop a plan to close those gaps using growth-focused strategies.
  • Conduct in-depth technical SEO audits to identify website crawlability, usability, indexing, and site-speed opportunities.
  • Lead the prioritization and execution of page optimizations based on revenue potential and expected return.
  • Review website traffic and down-funnel performance data using analytics & reporting platforms to inform SEO opportunities.
  • Understand and implement technical SEO audits and changes
  • Manage SEO content production by auditing existing content, creating content briefs for new content, and collaborating with content teams to build strategic content
  • Execute methods to track, report, analyze, and improve SEO performance
  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to implement necessary features and changes
  • Present and communicate SEO strategies and projects to internal stakeholders
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, strategies, and algorithm changes
Skills & Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in an SEO role, preferably at an agency. Management experience is a plus.
  • Strong proficiency using the following tools:
  • Google Analytics and/or Heap Analytics
  • Google Search Console
  • Google Looker Studio
  • SEMRush & Ahrefs
  • Screaming Frog
  • Google Sheets
  • Experience prioritizing SEO deliverables and creating actionable project plans
  • Must be highly organized and able to prioritize the highest impact work
  • Must be proactive in the data, and can understand the organic funnel from top to bottom
  • Must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable in a client-facing role
  • Experience creating and delivering presentations in Sharepoint or PowerPoint for stakeholders
  • Must have the ability to utilize data to make SEO decisions that impact revenue
Where:
The EverCommerce team is distributed globally, with teams in the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Jordan, New Zealand, and Australia. With a widely distributed team, we are used to working remotely across different time zones. This role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada – if you’re close to one of our offices, we can set you up in-office, or you can work 100% remotely. Please note that you must be eligible to work without sponsorship to qualify for this position, and this role may require travel to our Corporate Headquarters in Denver, Colorado, or to other office locations around North America.

Compensation:
EverCommerce is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $80,000 - $105,000 USD per year. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. EverCommerce considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, candidate’s work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
