Minimum Hiring Annual Salary:
$43,320.00
Maximum Hiring Annual Salary:
$45,486.00
To attain the maximum annual salary, employee must meet all minimum qualifications plus:
  • 5 (five) years of additional applicable work experience and/or degrees higher than minimum qualification degree. Degrees higher than the minimum qualification degree can be used in combination with additional work experience.

The stated salary amounts are not guaranteed in the event employment ends with Aims during any fiscal year.

Job Description:
Event support position is responsible for ALL event setup/tear-down and during event support of approximately 900,000 square feet of buildings, spread across campuses in Greeley, Windsor, Fort Lupton, and Loveland as well as the Flight Training Center. The logistics of every set up and tear down sets a first impression for incoming students, staff, faculty and the community and this is a direct correlation to quality and capabilities of the Event Operations/Logistics Specialist. Assisting event staff and clients with event related tasks.
Event Logistics & Operations:
  • Support logistics and operations for College-wide events (Greeley, Windsor, Fort Lupton, Loveland), including department or program sponsored events, educational partnerships, community outreach and private/corporate functions as approved and assigned
  • Review and prioritize event set up requests as needed
  • Review College-wide events schedules and follow up with staff, faculty and external customers as needed
  • Coordinate and execute event set-up and tear-down
  • Recommend replacement of damaged and/or unsafe equipment
  • Assist with day-of event logistics
  • Support of day-to-day operation of the Welcome Center
  • Manage inventory of event supplies for the College (tables, chairs, audio-visual equipment, etc.)
  • Track and schedule event-related equipment inventory, preventative maintenance and depreciation
  • Ensure support team has appropriate assets and equipment for events.
  • Assist with additional pre-event preparation and on-site logistics active
  • Significant involvement in the execution of all Commencement activities
  • Additional duties as assigned

College Operations:
  • Assist with Buildings and Grounds maintenance as requested

Other Duties as assigned by the Facilities Operations Manager
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High School or GED plus,
  • One (1) of related experience (ie: event set-up or other related experience) or an equivalent combination of education and/or work experience.
  • Knowledge of proper operation, maintenance and repair of equipment used in performing events setups.
  • A pre-employment post-offer physical evaluation will be required of the selected candidate.
  • This position requires the use of a company vehicle and/or personal vehicle for business travel. The selected candidate must successfully pass an MVR and be insurable under Aims insurance.
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal communication skills
  • Customer service experience
  • Flexibility and the ability to work nights and weekends as necessary
  • Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with faculty, staff, students and the general public
  • Demonstrated problem solving and decision-making skills
  • Ability to accomplish assigned tasks independently
  • Within 12 months of employment complete safety and operation certifications on the following: forklift, man lift, van driver

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a higher education setting
  • One (1) to two (2) years' experience in events set-up, or similar work (Equipment , Furniture moving etc...)
